Programmable Digital Thermostats
If you’re not ready to fully dive into the connected home world, a programmable digital thermostat might be a good option. These devices allow you to set schedules for each day or weekdays and weekends (a 5+2 or 5+1+1 schedule). The challenge with programs is that most people never set them up, or if they do, they are constantly overriding their own settings. This means that you’re not getting the advertised energy savings.
